I ask because of this...

I'm pretty sure that's from Blizzcon '08, and nothing there shows anything about the Hydralisk needing a Spawning Pool. However, it clearly shows you need a Spawning Pool before a Roach's Den.
Either they didn't have enough room for the Hydralisk Den on that side of the chart, or there is a pretty interesting early-game Zerg change in the current build.
Hydralisk Den requires the Lair and you will need the Spawning Pool to mutate into Lair from Hatchery.

Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere else on the fourm. But I was wondering if the units will have a number for the range of their attacks? In wc3 they have this, and i was just wondering if they are going to bring this over to starcraft.
Thanks guys, anything will be useful.

Still you can see each Unit's attach range just like the Original StarCraft. For example, Hydralisk's both ground and air attack range are set to 6 right now.

How do you see the attack range in SC?
lol, I feel pwned right now.
I'll better delete my post.
No, Shalafi. You're right. We can't find out unit's attack range in the Original StarCraft. I got wrong since I was reading the strategy guide of the Original StarCraft.

will it also climb up a ramp? I figure it would, but do we know for sure?
Zerg's Creep does not climb up or fall down from a cliff or a ramp. However if you generate the Creep from the Overlord right at the edge of the hill, you can see the Creep expand both side of the hill and the lower ground at the same time.

There it is on the ramp. Unless Cydra mis-spoke, I guess that screenshot would be outdated.
Some blue clarification would be nice.
Creep expands on a ramp as well, I was meaning that it doesn't fall down from the cliff or doesn't climb up the cliff from the lower ground.
